Make the Right Start - Copper Tube Installation Module

 

Make the Right Start is a short distance learning course with an optional City & Guilds qualification.  The course has been created to introduce people to the plumbing skills required to install copper tube and fittings, so that copper-based domestic plumbing installation work can be carried out quickly, competently and professionally.

This two part course is packed with knowledge, information and advice, and concludes with a  multi-choice assessment for you to complete and return to us for marking and feedback.

The theory part of the course consists of the two section self-study module covering:

Domestic Copper Tube Installation

Domestic Copper Piping Systems

On successful completion of the self-study module you will receive a Record of Achievement. Then, if desired, you can put your knowledge into practice to obtain a City & Guilds Certificate: C&G 6022-2 in Copper Tube Domestic Installation. This is by means of a short practical training and assessment at an Assessment Centre.

The price of the two part self-study theory module is £30 and this includes delivery to you, marking the summary questions and issue of a personalised Record of Achievement.

Intended user group: New-Entrants to the Plumbing and Heating Industry; as well as mature students working in the plumbing, central heating, gas installation industry. Also useful to multi-skill existing building craft occupations and maintenance staff in local authority and housing association direct labour organisations, as well as kitchen fitters, self-builders and people interested in plumbing and DIY.
