Our Plumbing Installation Theory Course takes you from the very basics of plumbing theory through all the job-related knowledge necessary for a Trained Plumber and can provide the supplementary job knowledge evidence required for a National Vocational Qualification at Level 2 in Plumbing (C&G 6089) or in Domestic Heating (C&G 6088), it also covers the theory required for the C&G 6129 Certificate in Plumbing. Our What is Plumbing? + Introduction to NVQ Level 2 Plumbing self-study module gets you started. It explains about the work of a Trained Plumber and describes the qualification structure and the principles of creating an Evidence Portfolio to prove competence by doing actual plumbing work. Following on from this, our comprehensive Plumbing Installation Theory Course comprises a series of self-study modules, each with a set of multiple-choice questions at the end to test your knowledge and understanding and provide evidence of your knowledge of the theory of plumbing installation. The course includes a quality A4 sized 4 ring binder with dividers, a copy of our CD-ROM version of Make the Right Start, delivery of your training modules, full independent tutor support by post, email or telephone, marking your answers to the multiple-choice questions at the end of each module, providing feedback, the issue of a personalised Record of Achievement for each completed module and a Summary Record of Achievement when you successfully complete the course. On receipt of your order form and cheque we will despatch your binder together with Your Training Guide & a copy of our What is Plumbing? and module two of the course - Health, Safety and Tools, and a copy your CD-ROM. When we receive your completed answer paper we will mark it and send your Record of Achievement (with feedback as necessary) together with the next module of the training course, and so on, until you have completed all the study modules... Once you have successfully completed all the study modules we will send your final full COLOUR Summary Record of Achievement.
